Auckland City Sights Tour and Sky Tower
More than just a city, Auckland is a whole region full of things to see and do. Experience some of the history, culture and scenic highlights on this half-day tour, followed by a trip up the famous Auckland Sky Tower. The tour takes you along famous Queen Street, edgy ‘K’ Road, fashionable Ponsonby, boutique Parnell (where you will briefly stop) as well as the iconic Harbour Bridge & Viaduct Harbour with its revitalised Silo Park. You’ll also visit the Domain, the 75 hectare historic park home to the Auckland War Memorial Museum. Just above Mission Bay is one of the scenic highlights: Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park which offers stunning views over the picturesque Eastern Bays, Auckland City and the Waitemata Harbour.
Your tour will then take you to the dominant Sky Tower, the tallest man-made structure in New Zealand. At 328 metres high it is an icon on Auckland’s skyline & an exciting hub of adrenaline activities, superb dining and breathtaking views. On a clear day from the observation deck at 220 metres above street level you’ll be able to see up to 80 kilometres in every direction, spotting landmarks, volcanoes and other historic locations from an unrivalled perspective. Your tour ends here, so you can spend as much time as you like in the tower.
